About

If you enjoy the Hudson Downtown Holiday Stroll, Hudsonfest at Town Hall, Downtown trick or treat, Concerts in the Park at Wood Park, or the Pumpkinfest at Morgan Bowl you have to thank the people that shop in Hudson. If your child participates in Little League Baseball, Youth Soccer, or one of the High School drama productions you have to thank the people who shop in Hudson. Shopping in Hudson is more than just local and convenient; it is good for the community.

By shopping in Hudson you not only enjoy the benefits of a wide variety of merchants, quality products and services, and friendly hometown service, but you also get the added benefit of supporting many community efforts. The contributions the business community makes to Hudson is often overlooked, but should never be underestimated. Without business support, The Downtown Trick or Treat, Hudsonfest, and Concerts in the Park would simply not happen. Without business support Youth Sports programs, High School Plays and a number of other events would have to struggle to exist.

Hudson businesses provide the financial backing necessary to make these events possible. Hudson businesses not only provide needed services to the town, they also provide the financial support for many efforts that add to the quality of life in Hudson.

The next time you see a little leaguer or soccer player with a company name on his or her shirt, realize that a business paid to sponsor that team, and supports Hudson Youth Programs. The next time you participate in any Hudson event where a program full of Hudson business names and good wishes is handed to you, realize that the business probably gets very little advertising value for the donation. The business makes the donation to support the cause and to support Hudson.

Why shop in Hudson? Simply because by shopping in Hudson a portion of your money goes to support many of those things that make Hudson the place that you have chosen to live.

How to contact us and get involved:

Deadlines for participation: To get on this website, you have to get your information to Bill Ross by noon on Fridays for display the next week. The ‘drop dead’ date for the program is Friday, November 28 at noon.

The program will be printed and available for distribution on the Tuesday before the event.

Seven years of Holiday Stroll success and counting. The Hudson community responded, and participant numbers continue to grow. Downtown Hudson celebrated an evening of holiday festivities, Santa, shopping, entertainment, special promotions, London taxi and horse pulled hayrides to kick off the holiday season. The turnout by our customers and local community shows that there is something for everyone during our Downtown Stroll. Join in and show our community all the great things that Hudson has to offer, especially in our unique and historic downtown.

There are already over 20 businesses with activities, programs, and promotions planned. There are several churches as well as community and cultural groups who will be part of the Stroll. This year we are planning a website dedicated to the stroll, which will be a great source of information to the community, as well as additional participant exposure.
